Born 28.09.57, I have been painting and drawing since the age of 7 when I was sent out of class for being naughty. I was put in a class one year above-with all of the ‘big kids’ and I remember drawing a deer and getting high praise from the teacher. I think that started it all off for me.
I was fortunate in getting a place at Moseley Art School in Birmingham-one of the only state schools in England to give an intensive art education from the age of 11. Although much of my current work is landscape and still life based, I paint any subject. My more recent work features landscapes from France, Spain and England.
